AN ACT
Amending Title 20, chapter 13, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding article 3; relating to accountable health plans.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 20, chapter 13, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 3, to read:
ARTICLE 3. ASSOCIATION HEALTH PLANS
20-2351. Association health plans; requirements
An association health plan may operate in this state if it meets both of the following requirements:
1. The plan is in compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations adopted pursuant to those laws.
2. The plan's governing documents require the plan to be actuarially sound and the plan is actuarially sound.
