Overview

Outlines protocols and information relating to drug therapy management.

History

Specifies the circumstances under which a licensed pharmacist can initiate, monitor, and modify drug therapy. Further, the statute outlines the protocols that must be followed (A.R.S. § 32-1970).               

A.R.S. § 32-1979.01 pertains to emergency refills and outlines the requirements for a licensed pharmacist to dispense one-time emergency refill for prescriptions of noncontrolled medications.
