History

Any person or corporation engaging in any business, occupation, or activity as a real estate broker or salesperson, cemetery broker or salesperson, or membership camping broker or salesperson must obtain an appropriate license from the Department of Real Estate (A.R.S. § 32-2122).

Statute outlines various persons who are exempt from licensure, which include persons who, on behalf of another, solicits, arranges or accepts reservations or monies for occupancies of 31 or fewer days in a dwelling unit in a common interest development (A.R.S. § 32-2121).
