History

Current law states that cities and towns may levy a tax each year not to exceed one mill to maintain or employ a municipal band (A.R.S. § 9-495).  One mill is equivalent to one thousandth of a dollar.

Provisions

1.       Repeals A.R.S. § 9-495 which allows cities and towns to levy each year a tax not to exceed one mill for the purpose of maintaining or employing a municipal band. (Sec. 1)
