History

No state agency, authorized agent of any state agency, or budget unit is authorized to establish a bank for any government monies. Any monies that are received by a state agency are to be deposited with the state treasurer or in an account that is authorized by the State Treasurer. (A.R.S. § 35-142)

Provisions

1.       Repeals the following funds:

a.       Child Safety Expedited Substance Fund;

b.       Joint Substance Abuse Treatment Fund;

c.        Technology-Based Language Development and Literacy Intervention Fund;

d.       American Competitiveness Project Fund;

e.       Oil Overcharge Fund;

f.         Tourism Workshop Fund;

g.       Juvenile Corrections Career Technical Education Fund;

h.       Training Institute Fund;

i.         Housing Development Fund;

j.         Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Indirect Cost Fund;

k.       Voluntary Lawn and Garden Equipment Emissions Fund;

l.         Used Oil Fund. (Sec. 1-13)

2.       Transfers unexpended and unencumbered monies from the following funds to the GF:

a.       Oil Overcharge Fund;

b.       AFIS II Collections Fund;

c.        Child Safety Expedited Substance Fund;

d.       Joint Substance Abuse Treatment Fund;

e.       Commerce Development Bond Fund;

f.         Corporation Commission Statewide Donations Fund;

g.       Department of Corrections Payment Card Clearing Fund;

h.       American Competitiveness Project Fund;

i.         E-Learning Fund;

j.         Student Success Fund;

k.       Technology-Based Language Development and Literacy Intervention Fund;

l.         Intergovernmental Agreement Fund;

m.     DEQ Indirect Cost Fund;

n.       DEQ Payroll Fund;

o.       Used Oil Fund;

p.       Voluntary Lawn and Garden Equipment Emissions Fund;

q.       Building and Fire Safety Fund;

r.        Housing Development Fund;
