Overview

Appropriates ☐ Prop 105 (45 votes) ☐ Prop 108 (40 votes) ☐ Emergency (40 votes) ☐ Fiscal Note$17.7 million from the GF in FY 2020 to retire certificates of participation relating to the Department of Health Services (DHS) building.

History

In January of 2013, the State restructured the previous financing agreement for the DHS office building at 150 North 18th Avenue with a new lease-purchase issuance through FY 2029. Payments on the agreement are serviced through the GF and other funds (JLBC Debt and Lease-Purchase Financing Report).

Provisions

1.       Appropriates $17.7 million from the GF in FY 2020 to the Department of Administration to retire the 2013A certificates of participation relating to the construction and furnishing of the DHS building. (Sec. 1)
