Overview

History

Currently, the locations required to display the POW/ MIA flag on any day that the flag of the United States is displayed are as follows:

1.       The State Capitol Building;

2.       The building that serves as the location of the superior court in the county;

3.       The building that serves the as the city or town hall of each incorporated city or town; and

4.       The building that serves as the main administrative building of each county.

When displayed with the United States flag on a single staff, the POW/MIA flag must be displayed below the Arizona flag (A.R.S. § 38-449).

Provisions

1.       Allows a POW/MIA flag to be displayed on any day that the flag of the United States is displayed, on or in front of the buildings that serve as the location of the following:

a.       The municipal court in a city or town;

b.       The location of the justice court; and

c.        The regional justice court center. (Sec. 1)
