Page 4, between lines 24 and 25, insert:
"H. The sum of $200,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2019-2020 and each fiscal year thereafter to the department of education to fund the office of Indian education. The department shall use these monies for conferences, technical assistance, trainings and, if possible, full-time equivalent employees who are assigned to the office of Indian education.
I. The appropriation made in this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190 relating to the lapsing of appropriations."
