AN ACT
Amending title 25, chapter 1, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 25-131; Relating to Marriage.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 25, chapter 1, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 25-131, to read:
25-131. Marriage license; name change
A person who desires to change the person's name on a marriage license may file an application to amend the marriage license with the clerk of the superior court in the county where the marriage license was issued, if the person's name has been legally changed. The clerk of the court shall amend the marriage license for the person if the clerk of the court receives a certified copy of the court order granting the name change, a court order to change the name on the marriage license or proof of a name change from an unexpired government‑issued identity document.
