SENATE AMENDMENTS TO H.B. 2124
(Reference to House engrossed bill)
Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert:
"Section 1. Appropriations; administrative office of the courts; superior court water litigation; exemption; intent
A. The following sums are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2019-2020 to the administrative office of the courts for the following purposes related to superior court water litigation:
1. $50,000 to create an electronic case management system.
2. $200,000 to digitize documents.
3. $4,500 for personal services and employee-related expenditures for a part-time administrative assistant.
4. $35,000 for personal services and employee-related expenditures for a part-time court reporter.
B. The appropriations made in subsection A of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
C. The legislature intends the appropriated monies for personal services and employee-related expenditures related to the special water master in a line item in the appropriation to the supreme court in the general appropriation act for fiscal year 2019-2020."
