SENATE AMENDMENTS TO H.B. 2166
(Reference to House engrossed bill)
Page 1, line 11, after the second "enrollee" insert "for a prescription drug that is either:
1. Without an AB‑rated generic equivalent.
2. With an AB‑rated generic equivalent where the enrollee has obtained access to the prescription drug through any of the following:
(a) Prior authorization.
(b) A step therapy protocol.
(c) A clinical pathway.
(d) The health care insurer's exceptions and appeals process"
After line 13, insert:
"Sec. 2. Effective date
Section 20‑1126, Arizona Revised Statutes, as added by this act, is effective from and after December 31, 2019."
