AN ACT
amending title
5, chapter 6, article 1, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 5-601.03;
relating to gaming.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 5, chapter 6, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 5-601.03, to read:
5-601.03. Gaming compacts;
water claims; prohibition
NOTWITHSTANDING section 5-601.02, this state may
not enter into, negotiate, execute, extend or renew any tribal-state gaming
compact with a tribe that is a party to litigation regarding water rights in
which this state is an adverse party.
