AN ACT
amending Title
15, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section
15-120.01; relating to education data.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 15, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-120.01, to read:
15-120.01. United States
department of education office for civil rights; compliance reports; posting;
redaction
A. Subject to subsection B of this
section, each public school and each local education agency shall post on its
website the most recent information that the public school or local education
agency reported to the United States department of education office for civil
rights for the purposes of the civil rights data collection survey.
B. This section does not authorize a
public school or local education agency to publish data that is protected under
the family educational rights and privacy act of 1974 (P.L. 93‑380; 88
Stat. 57). A public school or local
education agency that posts information on its website pursuant to subsection A
of this section shall redact the information to ensure that it complies with
this subsection.
