AN ACT
amending title 8, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 8‑467; relating to the department of child safety.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 8, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 8-467, to read:
8-467. Missing children; reports
A. The department shall provide a monthly, confidential report to the governor, president of the senate, speaker of the house of representatives and chief justice of the supreme court concerning all missing children. A member of the senate or house of representatives may view the report after providing reasonable notice and making a request to the president of the senate or speaker of the house of representatives, as appropriate. The governor, president of the senate, speaker of the house of representatives or chief justice may provide written permission to other persons to review the report.
B. The report prescribed in subsection A of this section shall list all missing children sorted by when each child went missing. The report shall include:
1. The age of each child at the time the child went missing.
2. An appropriately redacted detailed description of the circumstances related to the missing status of the child.
