Overview

Appropriates $2,000,000 from the state General Fund (GF) in fiscal year (FY) 2021 to the Department of Economic Security (DES) to distribute to Indian Tribes for culturally sensitive domestic violence and sexual assault crisis intervention.

History

The Arizona Department of Economic Security works with community organizations, advocates, state and federal partners, and families to ensure every child, adult, and family in Arizona will be safe and economically secure. (Arizona Department of Economic Security)

The DES Domestic Violence Program collaborates with the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, community-based organizations and state agencies to coordinate services for domestic violence survivors. (Arizona Department of Economic Security)
