Overview

States that the board of directors of a unit owner's association and planned community association (Association) must provide for and accept write-in candidates for election to any position on the board other than director.  

History

The board of directors of an Association must hold an election for the replacement of removed board members. After termination of the period of declarant control, the board must provide for votes to be cast in person and by absentee ballot. The board may also provide for voting by some other form of delivery including email and fax delivery (A.R.S. §§ 33-1243, 33-1250, 33-1812, 33-1813).
