Overview
Ensures preference be given to in-state film and digital media production (Production) businesses, over nonresident bidders if there are two or more responsive offers that are identical in price.
History
Statute outlines competitive sealed bidding processes and, states that a contract must be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid conforms in all material respects to the requirements and criteria outlined in the invitation for bids (A.R.S. § 41-2533).
Provisions
1. Stipulates that if there are two or more low, responsive offers from responsible bidders that are identical in price, a purchasing agency must give preference to a Production business or a Production support services business that is headquartered in this state. (Sec. 1)
