Overview

Requires all state agencies, boards, commissions or other administrative units of Arizona to ask every individual at the initial point of service and on each application form if the individual or a family member ever served in the military.

History

Laws 1972, Chapter 141 established the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) with a governor-approved director (A.R.S § 41-701). Pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-742, ADOA is required to establish and administer the state personal system that include a centralized employment system to be used by all successful applicants, including a common application form to be used by all state agencies.
