Overview
Establishes the Advisory Council on Aging in the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family.
History
The Governor's Advisory Council on Aging, established in 1980, is a body of 15 members appointed by the governor. Its purpose is to advise necessary state departments on issues related to aging, including administration of the state plan on aging (A.R.S. § 46-184). Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for older Arizonans (Office on Aging). The Advisory Council on Aging terminates on July 1, 2020 (A.R.S. § 41-3020.03).

1. Repeals A.R.S. § 41-3020.03 relating to the termination of the Advisory Council on Aging, effective July 1, 2020. (Sec. 1 and 3)
2. Establishes the Advisory Council on Aging in the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family. (Sec. 2)
