Overview
Removes private postsecondary education from the list of laws that a person may be exempted from if certain criteria are met.
History
Statute provides a person an exemption from certain laws which require licensure, certification or registration in order to act if specified requirements are met.
To qualify for the exemption a person must be a party to a contract: 1) between two or more private parties; 2) in which the subject is substantially delivered electronically; 3) that specifies the laws from which the person is exempt; 4) that is lawful; 5) where the exemption does not materially affect a third party; 6) that the exemption does not clearly harm or damage public health or safety; and 7) that does not exceed $6,000 per transaction and $150,000 in total aggregate profit in the previous calendar year (A.R.S. § 44-171).
Provisions
1. Removes private postsecondary education laws from the list of laws, in relation to licensure, certification and registration, that a person may be exempted from if certain requirements are met. (Sec. 1)
