Continues the Arizona Department of Revenue (DOR) for eight years.
History
DOR is tasked with administering and enforcing the collection of taxes including transaction privilege tax (TPT), use tax, severance taxes, corporate income tax, individual income tax, withholding taxes and luxury tax (A.R.S. §§ 42-3003, 42-5008, 42-5202, 43-208 and 43-401).
The Senate Finance Committee of Reference (COR) conducted a public meeting on December 17, 2019 and recommended that DOR be continued for eight years until July 1, 2028 (COR Final Report).
DOR is set to terminate on July 1, 2020 (A.R.S. § 41-3020.01).
