A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
directing the attorney general and the state land department to oppose the establishment of federal landholdings in this state.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Arizona, the Senate concurring:
1. That the Attorney General and the State Land Department oppose the establishment of any new or additional federal landholdings in this state.
2. That the Attorney General and the State Land Department oppose any change of status of federal, state and private lands to national parks, monuments, conservation areas, wilderness areas or other federal uses without state legislative approval.
3. That, in order for this state to achieve equal footing with the original thirteen states under the United States Constitution, the Attorney General and the State Land Department use every means available to reduce the percentage of federal landholdings within this state to percentages comparable to those found in the states east of Colorado.
4. That the Attorney General and the State Land Department use every means available to eliminate restrictive wilderness area designations of public lands within this state.
