Line 19, strike "manufacturer-approved"; after "modifications" insert "consistent with the manufacturer or component manufacturer's safety standards"
Between lines 25 and 26, insert:
"2. "Defeat device" means an auxiliary object or software modification that directly or intentionally alters, disengages or bypasses any of the advanced safety features of a vehicle during normal vehicle operation and use."
