FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

1.   Renames the holiday "National Diné, Hopi and Indigenous Code Talkers Day"

2.   Requires, if National Diné, Hopi and Indigenous Code Talkers Day falls on a day other than Sunday, the Sunday following August 14 to be observed as the holiday.

3.   Makes a technical change.

Between lines 33 and 34, insert:

"e. When the holiday enumerated in subsection A, paragraph 11 of this section falls on a day other than sunday, the sunday following August 14 shall be observed as that holiday."
