HOUSE BILL 2072

AN ACT

Appropriating monies to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; department of transportation; State Route 95; exemption

A. The sum of $20,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to the department of transportation to repave portions of road that are rated by the department as fair or poor on State Route 95 from:

1. Interstate 40 to Sara Park in Lake Havasu.

2. The Bullhead Parkway intersection in Bullhead City to the Courtwright Road intersection in Mohave Valley.

B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations, until June 30, 2023.
