FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Requires the Arizona Department of Gaming to monthly transfer 10 percent of Event Wagering Fund monies to the Secretary of State (SOS) for annual distribution to county recorders for voter outreach.
2. Requires the SOS to distribute the monies in proportion to the number of registered voters in each county as of January 2 each year.
3. Makes conforming changes.

Page 40, line 6, after the comma insert "the department of gaming shall make the transfer prescribed in subsection D of this section, and, after that transfer"
Line 12, strike the comma insert a period
Strike line 13, insert:
"D. The department of Gaming shall transfer ten percent of monies in the fund to the secretary of state to annually distribute to county recorders for the purpose of voter outreach. The secretary of state shall distribute the monies in proportion to the number of registered voters in each county as calculated for January 2 of each year.”
