FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
Appropriates $5,000,000 to the Arizona State Lottery for a vaccine lottery, to award $1,000,000 to a different COVID-19 vaccine recipient over 5 consecutive weeks, beginning August 1, 2021.
Requires the Arizona State Lottery Commission to collaborate with DHS to develop and implement the lottery.

Page 97, after line 24, insert:
"Sec. 144. Appropriation; Arizona state lottery commission; COVID-19 vaccination lottery
A. The sum of $5,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to the Arizona state lottery commission to fund a COVID-19 vaccination lottery that will grant $1,000,000 to one different person each week for five consecutive weeks from among persons who receive a full COVID-19 vaccination and participate in the lottery. The lottery shall commence on August 1, 2021.
