Background

A person who engages in the unlicensed practice of behavioral health or who claims to be licensed is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor and is subject to a civil penalty of up to $500 for each offense (A.R.S. § 32-3286).

There is no anticipated fiscal impact to the state General Fund associated with this legislation.
