AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1.
Specifies that as a local education agency (LEA), the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and
Blind (ASDB) must provide a free and
appropriate public education to enrolled pupils.
2. Specifies that in the
2021-2022 school year, the ASDB is deemed a
district of responsibility and an LEA
for pupils served through a campus-based model.
3. Makes conforming
changes.
