AN ACT

Amending title 36, chapter 29, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36‑2901.10; relating to the Arizona health care cost containment system.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 36, chapter 29, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-2901.10, to read:

START_STATUTE36-2901.10. Eligibility determination; income

Notwithstanding any other law, subject to approval by the centers for medicare and medicaid services, the administration shall use the average of the immediately preceding six months of income to determine a person's eligibility pursuant to this article. END_STATUTE
