AN ACT
APPROPRIATING monies to pima and maricopa county Community college districts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriations; Pima and Maricopa county community college districts; medical workforce development
A. In addition to any other appropriations made in fiscal year 2021-2022, the sum of $5,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to Pima county community college district to:
1. Train community health workers, certified nursing assistants, dental assistants and other health-related professionals.
2. Develop a medical workforce development plan that includes a component for increasing the number of graduating professionals who will serve in rural counties throughout the state.
B. In addition to any other appropriations made in fiscal year 2021-2022, the sum of $5,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to Maricopa county community college district to:
1. Train community health workers, certified nursing assistants, dental assistants and other health-related professionals.
2. Develop a medical workforce development plan that includes a component for increasing the number of graduating professionals who will serve in rural counties throughout the state.
