AN ACT

amending title 22, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 22‑206; relating to detainer actions.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 22, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 22-206, to read:

START_STATUTE22-206. Virtual appearance; detainer actions

Notwithstanding any other law, in a special detainer or forcible detainer proceeding before the court, any party, including an attorney or witness, shall be permitted to participate remotely by using a telephone or video conference connection. END_STATUTE
