HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AMENDMENTS TO H.B. 2621

Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert:

"Section 1. Title 16, chapter 1.1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-194, to read:

START_STATUTE16-194. Prohibited settlement agreement or consent decree

In any civil proceeding in a court of competent jurisdiction in which the constitutionality, legality or application of any provision of this title is at issue, a party that represents this state or an agency or political subdivision of this state may not agree to or sign a settlement agreement or consent decree.END_STATUTE"

Amend title to conform

And, as so amended, it do pass
