FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

1. Specifies that an insurance carrier must forward a written notification of an injury of an employee, if the employee intends to file a claim with the Industrial Commission of Arizona (ICA).

2. Increases, from five to seven business days, the time period that the insurance carrier has to forward a written notification to the ICA.

3. Specifies that additional expenses relating to a petition to reopen a workers' compensation claim must be incurred within 15 days before the date that the petition is filed, rather than 15 days after the date that the petition is filed.
