FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

•     Prohibits the Department of Economic Security (DES) from disqualifying an individual from unemployment benefits if an individual was terminated from employment for not receiving the COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot required by the employer.

•     Eliminates the prohibition on DES from disqualifying an individual for unemployment benefits if an individual leaves employment due to the requirement of the employer that the employee receive a COVID-19 vaccine or booster shot.
