FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

1. Exempts electronic pollbooks used by poll workers from the prohibition on voting equipment at a voting location having internet access.

2. Requires the election process to continue without regard to whether observers are present.

3. Prohibits observers from being allowed in county vehicles.

Page 1, line 8, after "results" insert ", except that poll workers may use electronic pollbooks to check in voters, verify identification and determine the appropriate ballot style for the voter"

Between lines 38 and 39, insert "B. notwithstanding subsection a of this section, the election process shall continue without regard to whether observers are present. Observers shall not be allowed in county vehicles."
