Strike line 11, insert "The chairperson of the independent oversight committee at the ARizona state hospital established pursuant to section 41-3803 shall serve as a nonvoting member of the governing board and is not counted for the purpose of determining if a quorum is present."
Between lines 11 and 12, insert:
"B. A governing board member may be removed only for cause. A board member who is removed for cause must be provided written notice and an opportunity to respond. The governor may remove a governing board member based on written findings that specify the reason for removal."
