FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Eliminates the $300,000 appropriation from the state General Fund in each fiscal year to the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) for reimbursing an agency for licensing fee waivers.
2. Eliminates the requirement for an agency to apply to ADOA for reimbursement of licensing fees that the agency waived.
3. Requires ADOA, by March 1 of each year, to report the total number of waived licensing fees by each agency to:
a) the President of the Senate;
b) the Speaker of the House of Representatives;
c) the Joint Legislative Budget Committee; and
d) the Governor's Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting.
4. Requires the report to specify for which purpose the fee was waived in accordance with statute.

"B. On or before March 1 of each year, the department of administration shall report to the president of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives, the joint legislative budget committee and the governor's office of strategic planning and budgeting the total number of waived licensing fees by each agency. The report shall specify for which purpose the fee was waived pursuant to this section."
