FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1. Removes the requirement that a county recorder or other county officer in charge of elections, after a primary and general election and within 48 hours of delivery of the official county canvass, submit ballot images to the Secretary of State.
2. Requires a county officer in charge of elections to ensure that paper ballots are stored, rather than sorted and stored, in a manner that allows for convenient retrieval.
