AN ACT
amending title 12, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 12-119.06; appropriating monies; relating to the supreme court.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 12, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 12-119.06, to read:
12-119.06. Sweat patch drug testing program; sweat patch drug testing fund
A. The supreme court shall establish a sweat patch drug testing program for the purpose of conducting drug testing of persons on supervised probation. The supreme court shall adopt rules and guidelines to implement this section.
b. The sweat patch drug testing fund is established consisting of monies appropriated by the legislature. The supreme court shall administer the fund. Monies in the fund are continuously appropriated. the supreme court shall allocate monies in the fund to the superior court in each county for administering the sweat patch drug testing program.
Sec. 2. Appropriation; sweat patch drug testing fund
The sum of $1,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the sweat patch drug testing fund established by section 12-119.06, Arizona Revised Statutes, as added by this act.
