AN ACT
amending title 1, chapter 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding article 2; amending section 44-7951, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to mask mandates.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 1, chapter 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 2, to read:
ARTICLE 2. MASK MANDATES
1-611. Mask and face covering mandates; minors; consent of parent or guardian
NOtwithstanding any other law, this state, any political subdivision of this state, any other governmental entity, any school district or any charter school may not require that a mask or face covering be worn by a person under eighteen years of age without the express consent of the person's parent or guardian.
Sec. 2. Section 44-7951, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
44-7951. Businesses; mask and face covering mandates; minors; consent of parent or guardian
Notwithstanding any other law, a business in this state:
1. Is not required to enforce on its patrons a mask or face covering mandate that is established by this state, a city, town or county or any other jurisdiction of this state.
2. May not require a mask or face covering to be worn by a person under eighteen years of age without the express consent of the person's parent or guardian.
