AN ACT
Amending title 32, chapter 32, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-3230; relating to health professionals.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 32, chapter 32, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-3230, to read:
32-3230. Business entities; owner interference with medical practice; prohibition
A physician who is licensed pursuant to chapter 13, 14 or 17 of this title, a nurse practitioner who is licensed pursuant to chapter 15 of this title or a physician assistant who is licensed pursuant to chapter 25 of this title may engage in the practice of medicine as a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant in any form of business entity in this state or as an employee of any form of business entity in this state. A business entity owner who is not licensed as a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant in this state may not interfere with the lawful and competent medical practice of a licensed physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant who is employed by that business entity.
