AN ACT
amending Title 23, chapter 4, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 23-772.03; relating to employment security.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 23, chapter 4, article 6, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 23-772.03, to read:
23-772.03. Notification required; fraud; decision
Notwithstanding any other law:
1. If additional information is needed to adjudicate a claimant's application for benefits, the department shall notify the claimant as required by sections 23-772 and 23-773.
2. The department shall notify a claimant whether the claimant is eligible for benefits under this chapter not more than twenty-one days after the claimant files an application for benefits or within the timeliness time frames established by the United states department of labor pursuant to 20 code of federal regulations part 640.
