SENATE BILL 1652

An Act

appropriating monies to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; department of transportation; Jackrabbit Trail; intent

A. The sum of $22,600,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2022-2023 to the department of transportation to distribute to the city of Buckeye to improve Jackrabbit Trail between Thomas Road and McDowell Road.

B. The legislature intends that the city of Buckeye contribute $2,500,000 to the project described in subsection A of this section.
