Summary of the Strike-Everything Amendment to HB 2014

Overview

Prohibits a person from overriding the safety features of an autonomous vehicle.

History

Fully autonomous vehicle is defined as a vehicle that is equipped with an automated driving system designed to function as a level four or five system as defined in the Society of Automotive Engineers Recommended Practice J3016 (A.R.S. § 28-101).
