Overview
Requires the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) Director to maintain a publicly accessible webpage containing specific information about inmates in violation of federal immigration law.
History
ADC's director is required to do the following: 1) be responsible for ADC's operation; 2) maintain ADC's institutions and programs; 3) be responsible for the execution of community supervision services; 4) develop a uniform community supervision field services program; 5) be responsible for the development of policies recommended to the Governor and Legislature; 6) establish a uniform method of reporting statistics; 7) employ key personnel; 8) adopt rules for the development of incentives that encourage good behavior by prisoners; and 9) cooperate with the Arizona-Mexico Commission (A.R.S. § 41-1604).
The Director may do the following: 1) adopts rules to implement ADC's purpose and the powers of the director; 2) take action to improve the efficiency of ADC; and 3) establish a one-time fee for conducting background checks on individuals that visit a prisoner (A.R.S. § 41-1604).
Provisions

Requires the ADC Director to maintain a
publicly accessible webpage on ADC's website that lists specific information
for each inmate in violation of federal immigration law. (Sec. 1)
2. Specifies the website list the following information for each inmate in violation of federal immigration law:
a) The inmate's name and age;
b) The crime the inmate is convicted of;
c) The conviction date; and
d) The sentence imposed. (Sec. 1)
