In FY 2017, the Arizona Legislature appropriated $2,100,000 from the Concealed Weapons Permit Fund to the Arizona Department of Public Safety to build seven different V-300 simulators around the state of Arizona (FY 2017 Appropriations Report).

In FY 2019, $2,503,000 from the Peace Officer Training Equipment Fund was used to build ten virtual firing ranges, three more V-300's and to maintain and service the seven existing simulators (FY 2019 Appropriations Report).
