Overview
Appropriates $225,000 and two full-time equivalent (FTE) positions to the Arizona State Land Department (Department) to improve the Department's enterprise-wide management system.
History
The Department manages state trust lands and the natural products of these lands for the benefit of thirteen beneficiaries listed in the Enabling Act. This management takes many forms, including selling these lands or leasing these lands for grazing and commercial uses (A.R.S. § 37-281 et seq.). Additionally, the Department can permit certain activities on state trust lands, including prospecting and mineral and gas exploration (R12-5-1903 and R12-5-2004).
Provisions
1. Appropriates $225,000 and two FTE positions from the state General Fund to the Arizona State Land Department in FY 2023 to improve the department's enterprise-wide management system. (Sec. 1)
