Overview

Appropriates $5,000,000 in FY 2023 to the University of Arizona for the Arizona Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (AZVDL).

History

The University of Arizona's Office for Research, Innovation and Impact is responsible for managing the AZVDL. The AZVDL, a member of the United States Department of Agriculture's National Animal Health Laboratory Network, is accredited for all species, including wild animals, exotic zoo animals and pets by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnostics (AZVDL).
