Purpose
Appropriates $225,000 and two full-time equivalent positions (FTE) from the state General Fund (state GF) in FY 2023 to the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) to improve the enterprise-wide management system.
Background
The ASLD has charge and control of all lands owned by the state except for lands under the specific use and control of state institutions. The ASLD may commence, prosecute and defend all actions and proceedings to protect the interest of the state lands (A.R.S. § 37-102).
S.B. 1632 appropriates $225,000 and two FTEs from the state GF in FY 2023 to the ASLD.
Provisions
1. Appropriates $225,000 and two FTEs from the state GF in FY 2023 to the ASLD to improve the enterprise-wide management system.
2. Becomes effective on the general effective date.
